Charity zip slide Events
At Adventure Challenge Events we are often asked to explain the concept of a zip slide. In simple terms it is a diagonally rigged rope that a person will slide down at speed. Standing on a platform 30m above the ground and zipping across a gap 200m wide can prove to be an extremely momentous challenge to any volunteer. These events have the advantage of high participant numbers, with an average of 200 volunteers daily.
Adventure Challenge Events specialise in the efficient and safe operation of charity zip slides. The highest standards of safety and professionalism are at the core of our operating policy, whist maintaining a relaxed and friendly environment for participants. Adventure Challenge Events believe in the participants experience and recognized how hard they have worked towards their sponsorship targets. Providing them with a unique experience and the charities with a professional service allows us to have confidence in the quality of our events.
During the past three years Adventure Challenge Events (ACE) has built up an impressive zip slide history, providing our services at some great and impressive venues. Having your event at a well known and popular venue can make all of the difference to the success of your event. ACE will work very closely with you and the venue to ensure that the event is professionally run and very successful. This inevitably leads to your charity and our return to the venue.

Successful events can be organised from numerous man made structures and operated in large areas of open land, such as parks. Sports stadiums, reservoirs, bridges and castles provide a few examples of suitable locations for zip slide events. Adventure Challenge Events work closely to support charities in their search for venues and provide a site visit service as part of package. During a site visit the suitability of a venue can be assessed and risk assessments and method statements produced. The planning and preparation of a zip slide is considerable, however the rewards associated with a well run and marketed event are vast.
Whether you are a charity or perspective participant, please contact us to discuss the organisation of a charity zip slide event. Adventure Challenge Events will provide you with all the support you need in the organisation and running of a successful event.
