Charity Walking Events
For millennia people have roamed the world on foot! Continuing the tradition, at Adventure Challenge Events we take pride in the quality walking events that we organise. From the beautiful National Parks on the edges of our cities to the remote forests and jungles many thousands of miles away, we organise and manage events of all levels to satisfy all abilities.
When developing a charity fundraising walk, at Adventure Challenge Events we stick to the following formula: first, we pick some of the most spectacular and challenging settings for our fundraising walks. We then check the suitability and safety of the area for our proposed participants. At this stage we must also consider the environmental impact of an event, to reduce this as much as possible; there must be a limit on the number of participants on any one event, and a policy of only running one event per year in each area.
We pride ourselves on our excellent safety record for these events which is largely based on the quality of the instructors which we use. All of our instructors hold the Summer Mountain Leader Award which is the recognized qualification for those working in the hills and mountains of the UK.
