A great challenge in its own right or as a warm up to the National 3 peaks, climb the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire (Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough). The challenge covers approximately 25 miles and our qualified and experienced instructors will support you in an effort to complete the challenge in less than 12 hours. At which point you can become a member of the "Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club".
Completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge in the recommended 24 hour period is a worthy challenge for any participant raising money for charity. Participants require a reasonable level of fitness to climb the 3 peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. Qualified and experienced instructors will support you on the mountains, whilst a minibus and drivers will support you between the mountains.
The Manchester Velodrome offers a great winter abseil venue. Participants are asked to walk along a walkway in the roof of the Velodrome, before abseiling 40m into the centre of the arena.
This will be the third year at the Velodrome and last year saw 120 participants abseil, raising in excess of £15,000 for their chosen charities.
Birmingham City FC has stepped in to save the day after the event was cancelled at West Bromwich Albion FC. The numerous charities and their 100 participants booked onto the West Bromwich event will be transferred to the Birmingham City event. St Andrews stadium offers us a fantastic alternative and is only 5 miles from West Bromwich. The event has 180 places available and ACE would like to thank Birmingham City FC for their support.
The Tyne Bridge in 2007 was one of our most popular events. ACE abseiled 144 participants, from 15 charities, who took the plunge for charity. The amount raised is still coming in, however should reach the £20,000 mark.
Baitings Dam is a wonderful venue, providing a 60m abseil and a 200m
zip slide. During our 2006 event, 12 different charities raised in excess
of £35,000 from this event.
In 2007 we enjoyed the company of over 200 participants, raising money for 18 different charities. The final raise is still to be calculated but should exceed 2006.
Located to the West of Halifax, Baitings
Dam is centrally situated between Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. We'd
like to thank Yorkshire Water for their kind support.

In 2007 ACE provided one of the biggest zip slides in the country from the famous Newport Transporter Bridge. In proved a great challenge and all of the participants demonstrated their commitment to raise money for their chosen charity when they launched themselves from the impressive 53m platform, zipping at over 30mph over 300m.
Over 130 participants zipped and in 2008 the maximum number will be 150, so book early to avoid missing out on this great opportunity.
Why not make a weekend of it and abseil from the bridge the following day. Places are again limited to 120 participants for the abseil and participants can do both activities or just select one.
The Marquess of Anglesey's Column is a very impressive venue. Perched high on a hill the abseil feels even more exhilarating. The column offers excellent opportunities for your North Wales fundraising.
The venue has proved popular with charities, with 30 participants in 2006 and over 50 in 2007.
Completing the 190 mile challenge from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay on the East coast is a wonderful achievement for most people. Including three National Parks, The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors and finishing in the beautiful Robin Hoods Bay.
Adventure Challenge Events are able to provide the complete challenge over 13 to 16 days, either as a single event or completing the challenge in two 7 day blocks. This offers participants the opportunity to complete the challenge over a number of years encouraging their return and future fundraising.
