GO, THE WHOLE HOG 2009
The Whole Hog series 2009 is now complete and we have five events around
the country including, for the first time, an exclusive event with
Marie Curie Cancer Care in Scotland. These multi discipline adventure
events have proved very popular and we saw 250 competitors at both
Suffolk and Sheffield last year. Generally they follow a 7 - 8 mile walking/running course which will include all manner of tasks and
challenges. It’s a tough event but lots of fun.
- 9th May Marie Curie – Scottish Hog
- 31st May Hambleden – Capital Hog
- 28th June Alton Towers – Boss Hog
- 1st November Wantisden Hall – Hog Run
- 22nd Nov Walesby Forest, Notts – Hog Dash

The event is designed for teams of three people and entry to all the
events is £35 per person (£105 per team). All money raised above this
entry fee can be donated to your charity.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic event at Wantisden Hall today. I had absolutely no idea how challenging the
course would be, or how much swimming I would have to do!
It was very well marshalled and a brilliantly challenging course. I will definitely be entering again next year.
The crowds were superb, and there was such a team spirit amongst all of the competitors. We went through a lot together!
Good luck with future events.
Kind Regards
Richard Daley |

Open Events filling fast!
Our open event series is proving very popular, and we’ve seen our first full events.
The
Mersey ventilation shaft is already full with 80 participants and a second date for September will be announced soon.
Riverwalk House in London was also full; however we have just increased the
event to 3 ropes, allowing us another 50 places. Please book early to secure
these extra places.
The first open zip off
the Tyne Bridge is also proving popular and we are close to filling
the first day.

Message to charities
ACE are currently working on numerous events for the second half of
2009 and we plan to update our web site by the end of March allowing you ample time to buy into these.
Due to the popularity of these events, it does create some difficulty for those charities that
advertise the events and only confirm bookings when they recruit
participants.
ACE are happy for charities to continue with this
method, however please note that we will do our best to keep you
informed as the events fill, but unfortunately we can only offer
confirmed places and times when a contract is completed and payment
received.
